It Never Fails

We are on our second snow day of the week and I'm actually getting a lot accomplished quite proud of myself. Made a yummy corn and potato chowder last night and actually cleaned my teacher bag out. Today however I've been full of blog stalking, drinking some yummy goodness out of my Keurig (STILL IN LOVE!) and online shopping. Am I the only one out there that always finds something to buy online on a snow day?? Lakeshore gets me even on a sunny day but I've been looking for a few new centers and things for the classroom and Lakeshore had some good deals...so in no particular order here is a little sneak peak of some of the things i currently have in my "shopping cart" Happy Thursday Everyone!

I'm in love.

Ok ya'll I am unbelievably happy. I've had a Keurig on my Wish list for over a year now but because of the price I always passed it up...yet still kept it on my list for that day I might find a lot of money or hit the lottery. :) Obviously those things have not happened...this Pre-K teacher doesn't make that kind of money. However my sweet sweet boyfriend surprised me with one this weekend. You would have thought the boy brought home a Mercedes! I squealed and jumped and hopped and all sorts of other moves. Let me tell you this thing is amazing, I can enjoy a cup of yumminess in about one minute or less. That's right one minute or less. I'm looking forward to trying all these yummy flavors and blends. I'm currently enjoying a warm cup of hot chocolate...yummy!

1. What movie could you watch over and over again and not get tired of?

I have two movies that I could just watch over and over again. The First one being Dirty Dancing and the second one being Pretty Woman. What can I say I'm a chick flick lover!

2. What's your biggest pet peeve right now?

Biggest pet peeve right now isn't such a pet peeve more like something that's currently irritating me. This "something" goes by the name of dry skin!! It's awful it's so chilly and windy in my neck of the woods that lotion must be applied all the time. Okay, i guess things could be worse.

3. If you had to describe your best friend in five words or less, what would you say?

a. Hilarious b. Committed c. Honest d. Loving E. Faithful

4. If you did not have to worry about money or go to school what would you do for a living?

I often think of this and my answer will and always be wanting to open my own little boutique.

5. What is your one "splurge" item, that you will always buy, no matter the cost?

SHOES. SHOES. SHOES! This girl right here loves her some shoes. Currently drooling over these babies right now!

Thankful Thursday!

 It's Thursday and I'm thankful!

I'm thankful for Weight Watchers. Started the week before Thanksgiving and feeling wonderful. Almost 20lbs down baby! 

I'm thankful for this quote i saw the other day. "Think before you speak and you'll thank" Maybe just maybe I'm not the best at remembering this and maybe just maybe I need to really work on this. Well since this quote popped in my face the other day It has stuck. I truly believe that this is something I will put my heart into in 2011.

and lastly this week I'm thankful for my wonderful wonderful boyfriend! Feeling very grateful for the things he does for me. I might be a bag of emotions recently and somehow this amazing man knows how to get me back to smiling. Thank you lord for sending me such an amazingly loving man in my life!

Starting Fresh

I'm a 20 something year old gal who has a lot to say. Jump on in and read my daily ramblings about life,love,work,friends and family! I promise you I'm full of stories seeing as I work with some of the cutest little Pre-K students on the East Coast : )
