Dental Health :)

Hello All-

Hope you are having a wonderful Thursday and getting excited that tomorrow is FRIDAY! WOOOOOHOOO. Anyways, enough of my weekend countdown!We have been talking about dental health recently and the kiddos are crazy for it.It always makes the day so much more enjoyable when the kids are really getting a kick out of what our topic is. Here's just a few things we've been doing :)

We learned how to brush our teeth using this fun guy :)

 

We read these fun books! :) 

We also huddled together on the floor threw some magazines on the ground and got cutting! We cut out all sorts of foods and then we sorted them into two categories. The kiddos loved this and wanted to fill the whole page up :)  Again, I apologize for the awful photo quality, my cell phone just isn't cutting it and I keep forgetting my camera. Vday Fun :)

My kiddo's were crazy for our Valentines unit! I thought I'd share a few books and ideas we did during our short unit.

Here's a short list of books my class really enjoyed!

We used snack size ziplocs, tweezers and conversation hearts for this activity! I'm munching on my candy hearts as I type which is why the picture is so crummy! (forgive me) Each student had a chance to personally tweeze a bag of conversation hearts for their valentine. We attached a poem to the front of the bag and the students signed their names at the bottoms.  I've included the poem below..

This picture does not do these cute Valentine bags justice! I just love how cute these turn out and the kids LOVE them! We make these cupcake treat bags for our Valentine's cards and other vday goodies. :) The top and bottom of the cupcake are two seperate pieces and the kiddos enjoyed putting them together.

It's Sunday & I'm Tired & this post is random.

It's sunday...It's random...& so is this post! Hope Everyone had an enjoyable weekend. I decided to post a list of things i have on my wish list that mainly are getting me excited for spring and summer. Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday! :)

Asking my kids at Circle this morning what is love, one child tells me "when mommy and daddy kiss and they don't see me" 

Y'all it took everything in my body to not stomp my feet, laugh out loud, roll on the ground laughing. I love when the kids make me laugh inside. :)
