Transportation Unit

We've been busy talking about all sorts of transportation. The kids just can't get enough of this topic, it makes the day so much more enjoyable when the kids are so into the theme. We started our week off with buses, boy do my sweet babies love buses. I included some photos of our bus activities. Sorry for the simple post, I'm super tired but wanted to share a few photos. I'll be back soon with some more photos.Hope you are having a wonderful week, happy almost hump day!!!

T is for Tired!

T is for tired which is how I'm feeling. I know I've been gone for about a whole 8000000 years and I'm sorry but life got CRAZY! Today was our first day back to school and it was amazing, totally not how I expected the first day. I'm looking forward to seeing how much my sweet babies grow this year! Time for bed this teacher is tired.

Goodnight to me!

Goodnight Classroom! (*ignore the bare wall- there is now beautiful work hanging there! Just needed my sweet babies to bring in their family crests! Also my room is much larger you just can't see the other half. :)

Goodnight Everyone!

Can't teach without linky party

Mrs Lamb at Views from Room 205 is hosting a linky party for things you could not teach without! Head on over and see what everyone can't teach with out :) There's a lot of things i wouldn't like to teach with out but i will just pick a few!

Bic Mark It's! I need these all day everyday, these are the best permanent markers EVER...better than Sharpies in my opinion & the colors are amazing!
Love, flair pens and all the pretty colors!
Need this to function :P Although I've really been trying to ween myself off of it (as i drink one right now!)

Love my easel, it' s great for group time & the kids love
it too!
I love my iphone 4, there's so many awesome
applications that are great for the classroom.

& my laptop! this sweet baby helps me out so much & holds TONS of my resources!

What things can't you teach without? Head on over to Mrs. Lamb's page and link up!

Oh Kohls how i love thee!

Every year I like to send a special class "pet" home with each of my students for a week or so throughout the school year. While the "pet" is home with a student they are to document their adventures with our class "pet" through pictures, drawings, movie tickets, restaurant menus and writing in a composition book. The “pets" I had last year were not my favorite choice so while at Kohls today I picked up some new class “pets” I'm so excited to share them with my students and hear all about their adventures with Clifford & T-bone. ( I have two pets because I teach AM & PM pre-k)
